A mature voice tells the story of a two-year-old boy's near-death experience — how the doctor called in the family and his
grandpa prayed for his recovery. There's reminiscence of the orphanage, oil rigs, California, the love of guitar music
. . . and how a young man made it to Nashville to eventually pen some of the greatest country hits of all time. Songs like
"Make the World Go Away" and "I Fall to Pieces."
This is the story of Hank Cochran: An American Songwriter.
Film shooting wraps by the end of 2009.
Editing starts in late January.
Film debuts in August, 2010.
